The Process Engineer is responsible for:

The Process Engineer will primarily focus on supporting the New Product Development (NPD) team’s injection molding effort while driving the manufacturing process and tooling molding process optimization through scientific methods to deliver world class quality and productivity.

Day-to-day, you can find yourself working on:

• Establish new product molding processes, procedures, and verify quality data to recommend any adjustments required to meet customer specifications.
• Research and evaluate continual improvement suggestions in areas of molding, raw materials, tooling, assembly, and support equipment.
• Participate in customer piece part and assembly design efforts, suggesting improvements for manufacturability.
• Research product discrepancy cause and corrective action for all received product rejects, supply quality with appropriate data to submit to customer.

Who you are:

• 3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in plastic injection molding.
• Proven knowledge of Scientific Injection Molding, RJG Master Molder or equivalent.
• Hands on operational processing experience with Injection Molding Machines and all related ancillary equipment, melt indexing, hygrometer, pyrometer.
