The TwelveStone Information Technology Team is committed to providing exceptional technical support to our staff and patients. The Network/Systems Administrator will combine technical knowledge, superior problem-solving skills and the flexibility to multi-task between projects and technologies. This position will provide technical and administrative support for our network environment; specifically, responsible for the operation and administration of network server hardware, operating systems, and communication links to ensure a maximum level of network resources availability. Equally important is a focus on process efficiency and automation methods to execute the above tasks.
The ideal candidate is passionate about caring for our patients and has a strong client service orientation. Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team, this position will enjoy the daily challenges associated with a healthcare environment supporting diverse software and architecture environments. The candidate must be an adept problem solver that goes beyond the obvious to develop effective long-term solutions.
Summary of Position: Exciting projects include: Adding new Infusion Centers across Tennessee and looking for ways to rollout technology efficiently, Aruba SDWAN, Datawarehouse, Integration with cloud apps, software development opportunity, SCOM and much more.
Description of Responsibilities:
- Installing, supporting and maintaining hardware and software infrastructure in a Microsoft Hyper-V environment using SCCM and SCOM.
- Network management and monitoring usage on-site and across other sites linked by SDWAN.
- Undertaking routine and preventative measures to maintain/monitor network security ensuring the security of customer data both internally and externally.
- Managing 70+ security cameras across multiple sites in conjunction with security camera Vendor.
- Monitoring the proper use of the internal networks and external networks by associates.
- Managing client-facing servers and keeping internal networks running
- Document all Network diagrams and administrative procedures and maintain knowledgebase for the department
- Manage local Datacenter and Cloud Infrastructure including local and cloud backups as well as UPS.
- Ensuring that all IT equipment complies with industry and accreditation standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines by implementing auditor recommendations
- Analyzing and resolving a wide range of issues - whether it is a major system crash through to a forgotten password.
- Suggesting and providing IT solutions and leverage new technology to create efficiencies throughout the business.
- Providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.
- Mentoring and assisting other IT associates
- Working closely with other departments and organizations and collaborating with other IT staff
- Planning and implementing future IT developments and serving as project manager on major IT initiatives
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Science, Information Technology or related discipline required.
Work Experience: Minimum five years’ Network/System support experience including experience with database concepts, and database driven applications, SCCM and SCOM, backup technologies – on prem and cloud. Must also have knowledge and understanding of Windows Server environments and administration, including Cisco/Dell/HP network equipment and routing protocols, firewall configuration and security. Experience supporting client/server and database applications remote information gathering, remote assistance, and remote system control methods, Prior experience in healthcare preferred.
