Overview:

Headquarters, Air Combat Command (ACC), Directorate of Operations (A3), Flight Operations Division (A3T) at Langley Air Force Base, VA is responsible for the combat readiness and training of the Combat Air Forces (CAF). ACC/A3T provides the operational expertise required to meet current and future needs of the CAF by developing, coordinating, and publishing command guidance for all aspects of CAF fighter aircrew training.

Job Summary:

Advise the Government on IA and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) best practices to support current and planned technologies and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness and security of the application and/or network. Provide policy and technical guidance on C&A of IT systems.

Requirement: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP/SAR eligibility is required

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Computer Systems, Network Engineering, or related technical field
• 3 years of recent experience providing Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) user training and account administration at the MAJCOM level or higher and familiarity with XACTA capabilities (Must have been gained within the last 2 years)
• 5 years of recent experience as IA Manager (IAM) that included DoD and AF IA policy, guidelines, and principles (Must have been gained within the last 2 years)

Essential Duties:

• Assist in interpreting and refining Government Cybersecurity guidance and constraints and integrating them into draft concepts and TTPs for implementation.
• Advise the Government on IA and C&A best practices on current and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate and provide risk assessments for minor modifications of software products.
• Provide feedback to improve products and processes.
• Assist ACC Project Management Officers (PMO) with IA related items required under the Federal Information Systems Management Act (FISMA).
• Provide certification and accreditation support for proposed capabilities related to ACC sponsored systems/enclaves.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

• IAM Level II certification IAW DoD 8570
• 5 years of recent experience with creating and transitioning to Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages spanning multiple Area Processing Centers (APC), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) controls across the Enterprise (Must have been gained within the last 2 years)
• 4 years of recent experience with DIACAP, eMASS, Enterprise Information Technology Data Repository (EITDR), and DISA System Network Approval Process (SNAP) (Must have been gained within the last 2 years)
• Recent experience with Apple iPad and MacBook technology (Must have been gained within the last 2 years)
• Recent experience using Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and SharePoint (Must have been gained within the last 2 years)
