Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Cisco 9K line of WLC’s and WIFI 6 AP’s experience a must
• Good Understanding of wireless AIR-OS and IOS-XE structure
• Manage deployment and code updates for wireless systems, such as WLCs, Autonomous Access Points , Ubiquity bridges and Access Points
• Responsible for advanced wireless LAN administration and mesh networks
• Understanding of wireless and WLAN Protocols Good Knowledge of Central and Local Switching in Wireless.
• Understanding of WIFI6
• Understanding of Guest Wifi setup with Meraki or similar technologies
• Understanding of Radius and Cisco ISE server Understating of IOT
• Working knowledge of tools like Cisco Prime Infra and ISE
• Experience with reading and/or performing Wireless site surveys
• Knowledge of LAN’s and WIFI structure both at L2 and L3 levels
• Knowledge on Checkpoint firewall design and how to help integrate into a core design
• Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors.
• Upgrade network hardware and software components as required
• Solve complex problems with many variables and solution
• Thorough understanding of modern service provider TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to: Ethernet, OSPF, IGMP, STP, RSTP, 802.1q, 802.11n, and 802.11ac.
• Hands on Cisco hardware experience

Good-to-Have

• Cisco ACI experience
• SDWAN experience
• Fiber and Ethernet cabling knowledge
