Responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Installs, configures, maintains, updates, patches, and monitors the operating system software and its associated components.
  • Analyze performance indicators to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
  • SonicWALL, Fortinet and Dell Networking experience and capacity of management of the Network Infrastructure.
  • Build new network and server environments.
  • Solve complex technical problems including, software deployments, server and desktop hardware issues and software problems.
  • System administrator for shopfloor applications.
  • Manage, maintain and upgrade existing servers, networks and desktops.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical server and storage-related problems.
  • Works with multiple platforms, conducting performance tuning, capacity planning, detailed monitoring and reporting at the engineering level.
  • Maintain support tasks surrounding Windows server/system administration (e.g., DNS, DHCP, VPN, Active Directory, Virtualization, Group Policy)
  • Provides Level 3 technical support in critical production support issues interacting with Developers.
  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot physical and virtual (VMware & Hyper-V) server infrastructure.
  • Develops scripts, programs, and tools to assist with system administration functions.
  • Serve as the Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory technical authority.
  • Participate in the IT Change Management process and regularly scheduled maintenance windows.
  • Address escalated end users’ requests/tickets and provide status updates.
  • Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

Deploy complex solutions involving a variety of technologies, such as Azure, Exchange, VMWare and Windows Server.

  • Coordinate internal and external resources and vendors.
  • Maintain healthy working relationships with multiple customers, manage customer expectations, and regularly communicate status updates to customer contacts.
  • Understand customer business processes and goals and recommend technology solutions to improve those processes or achieve those goals.Minimum Qualifications:

_Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field plus 5 years in system administration, information technology, or a related field.
5+ years of Microsoft server administration experience preferred.
MCSE/MCSA, CCNA, NSE certifications preferred.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities._
