POSITION SUMMARY
To manufacture custom cord products requiring the use of a chop saw, swage machine, and hydraulic crimper to assemble nets. See the video below to see an example of a finished net!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to read calibrated measurement instruments (caliper, tape measure, etc.) and convert fractions to decimals
- Read blueprints and able to measure, cut, and assemble products based on prints
- Measure and cut ropes/cords
- Assemble ropes/cords into net structures
- Assemble 3D nets prior to shipment to ensure accuracy in parts
- Package parts to ship without damage
- Ensure accuracy of inventory by proper inspecting and labeling techniques
- Identify quality concerns and be able to repair quickly
- Drive forklift to pull raw materials necessary for builds

- Able to organize and prioritize their workload between work centers
- Works well with others and in a team environment
- Willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the company
Qualifications
- GED required or high school diploma
- Intermediate computer knowledge and the ability to learn new programs
- Must be able to read blueprints and read calibrated measurements
- Must be able to work safely with power tools
- Ability to handle repetitive lifting while using proper lifting techniques daily up to 50lbs
- Ability to work overhead, and stand up constantly throughout the day
