Our national multi-family management company seeks an experienced National Help Desk with a "Whatever it Takes" attitude to provide support as a strategic business partner for Allied Orion Group through the processes of high-level software maintenance and support, product planning and implementation, software education and other IT related areas.


Job Summary

A National Help desk provides technical support and assistance, whether on the phone, in person, or remotely, related to computer systems, hardware, and software. A National Help Desk also responds to customer queries to provide technical assistance.


REPORTS TO: Director of Information Systems

Essential Function:

  • Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, onboarding, and maintaining workstation and LAN performance.
  • Provides answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
  • Improves client references by writing and maintaining documentation.
  • Participates in development of client training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending instructional language.
  • Accommodates client disabilities by recommending devices and techniques.
  • Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.
  • Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
  • Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Education/Certification/Training

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Prior information technology or systems administration experience preferred
  • Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software a plus
