This role can be based out of one of the PECO corporate offices (Cincinnati, Park City, Atlanta) or remote.

Position Summary/ Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility will be to source deals through meetings with national retail partners as identified across the U.S.
  • Portfolio reviews to be held via Teams, ICSC events, retailers’ corporate headquarters
  • Work with internal Phillips Edison Leasing Team to first identify opportunities, refine into presentation form and present shopping centers/ markets
  • Once opportunity sourced and converted to Letter of Intent stage, deal is turned over to the Leasing Agent on the property to negotiate LOI, Lease and close
  • Brand advocate for PECO on respective Accounts. One point of contact, creating streamlined process from interest to LOI
  • Internal presentations on a quarterly basis to Internal Senior Management teams on respective retailers and market trends
  • Work cross functionally with Retention group to discuss any lease expirations, options or pending renewals
  • Develop and nurture strong contact relationships
  • Attend all relevant ICSC events
  • Work directly with team members in National Accounts and Emerging Trends to provide any brand related information and/or retail news with goal of reporting back internally to PECO

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Retail real estate experience with an emphasis on retail leasing is required
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytic ability
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and developing relationships is a must
  • Ability to multi-task various projects to hard deadlines, including prioritizing and time-managing recurring duties and ad hoc tasks as they arise
  • Travel required
