About Nail Artists

Why do we call our technicians Nail Artists? Because we believe nail care is an art form. If you do, too, we’d love to have you join us on our mission to transform the nail salon industry.

As a Nail Artist, you’ll be main point of contact for our guests. You’ll flex your mani-pedi skills while learning PROSE Nails best practices. And nails aren’t all we do—you’ll also be an expert in cuticle and nailbed care. Most of all, you’ll encourage our clients to express themselves with unique designs!

Responsibilities

· Expertly apply polish to fingernails and toenails

· Clean, cut and shape nails to our standard

· Recommend colors and designs based on guest’s style

· Prepare and clean beauty stations between appointments

· Sterilize equipment before use

· Share information with clients about additional services and offers (ex. Treats, Beauty Bar Services, Memberships)

· Perform hand and foot massages

· Provide nail care treatment education, including tips on strengthening nails and making manicures last

· Upsell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate

· Make guests feel at home with a warm, yet professional demeanor

· Promote PROSE Nails’ Unlimited Membership to increase clientele

· Be open to ongoing coaching; attend and participate in required education and training

· Commit to consistently improving skills

Requirements

· Valid Cosmetology or Nail Technician License (required)

· Ability to work flexible work hours, including weekends

· Ability to build customer rapport and retain clientele

Pay: $200.00 - $600.00 per week
