About the Multi-Family Maintenance Technician role specifically:

Paramount Construction and Restoration is currently looking for qualified apartment maintenance technicians to work within our program for providing after-hour and weekend emergency maintenance services to our multi-family clients. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to learn skills to work on our mitigation, restoration and construction projects.

Responsibilities:

● After hours and weekend emergency maintenance

● Assists in the repair and maintenance of light commercial and/or multi-unit residential facilities

● Respond to plumbing and heating related emergencies, which may include after-hours response from normal daily work schedule

● Respond to problems with the goal of ensuring repairs are performed successfully and to the satisfaction of residents.

● Follow procedures for accessing and obtaining materials

● Complete documentation and other paperwork timely and accurately so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked

● Respond to all on-call emergencies while on-call as directed by the Service Manager, must be completed in a timely and professional manner

● Assist team members during the day with ongoing projects as needed

Qualifications:

● Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
● Computer literate (Google Apps)
● Interact well with co-workers, residents, and vendors
● Mechanically inclined
● EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling preferred
● Valid driver’s license and rotating on-call responsibility required
● 2+ years related experience or education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
