Mobile Therapy Centers (MTC) is a private, energetic, fun-loving practice with a progressive service delivery model. Over the last 16 years, Mobile Therapy Centers has evolved from a single therapist offering a single service to employing over 200 highly experienced dedicated, team-oriented healthcare professionals, who provide a multitude of high-quality, cutting edge, customized therapeutic services (ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Feeding Therapy, Physical Therapy and Counseling) for children, teens, and families. MTC has a strong presence in Tennessee and throughout the Midwest. We are looking for a part-time pediatric feeding/speech/language pathologist to join our team!
We are looking for therapists who have experience working with clients with apraxia, sensory processing disorders, feeding concerns, developmental delays, behavioral challenges, and neurological and medical conditions. We are a diverse and highly collaborative team that designs and builds individualized intervention programs for children and families that are impacted by developmental differences at a therapist-owned clinic. Job Description
· Conducts clinical speech, language, communication, and/or feeding assessments/reassessments according to department policy and procedure & appropriate to area of service delivery and indication for care.
· Develops a plan of care that includes frequency of intervention, types of intervention, functional goals
· Identifies appropriate and measurable short term & long-term goals addressing areas of deficit, speech, language, communication, and/or swallowing disorders skills that are realistic to the current status and expected outcomes
· Provides high quality SL therapy that reflects appropriate clinical reasoning, safe practices, evidence-based care, and that optimizes patient’s potential for functional gains, improved quality of life, & increased care giver participation in the areas of speech, language, communication & activities of daily living related to speech.
· Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt without difficulty
· Proactively pursues opportunities to collaborate with other healthcare professionals; provides and accepts information from all members of the multidisciplinary team to facilitate goal accomplishment
· Documentation is completed in a professional, timely manner and supports billed charges
· Prepares for and actively participates in educational opportunities provided within the department including presentations, article reviews, in- services, discussions
· Assists with the orientation of new team members into the department and organization including student education and student observations to further promote the profession

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Requires the ability to communicate effective, both verbally and in writing
· Requires basic computer skills
· Requires the ability to organize responsibilities and manage time wisely
· Requires the ability to work effectively in a team setting
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Master's degree required
· Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist
· Minimum 3 years of experience in speech, language, communication assessment & treatment
· Minimum 1 Year of experience in pediatric outpatient setting
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
· Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is required.
· Current and valid State License in Speech Language Pathology required.
