Pint Size Hawaii serves ALL the Hawaiian Islands with full-service, frozen/chilled/dry Direct Store Delivery and Just In Time local replenishment. We represent select, market-dominant brands and provides a full array of services and logistics to support both our suppliers and our customers.

We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our Pint Size Hawaii Ohana!

Position overview: The Merchandiser will merchandise and stock all Pint Size Hawaii products for assigned accounts. They will support the Route Account Manager and Delivery Driver through an efficient and timely work ethic. Able to move racks of product in freezer storage area and work regularly in freezer or chill box.

Essential Function:

• Develop business growth and customer relationships.
• Maintain awareness of all product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, merchandise status and marketing activity.
• Ensure maximum product quality and through proper rotation and product management.
• Assist in floor moves, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
• Merchandise product from backroom and/or delivery to sales floor at pre-determined number of accounts each day.
• Provides excellent customer service in a professional and effective manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times. Adhere to Federal, State, local company safety policies.
• Clean and perform preventative maintenance on equipment that is placed in the market as needed.
• Complete paperwork accurately and legibly in a timely manner.
• Develop long term partnerships with new and established customers.
• Deliver products and services to established client base.
• Complete all scheduled service stops timely and as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Education and Basic Requirements:

• High School Equivalent
• One (1) year Grocery/Retail experience preferred but not required
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and/or holidays and work flexible hours which can begin as early as required
• Must have the ability to frequently push/pull a handcart or wagon and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have the ability to frequently walk on stand, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, grasp and reach overhead
• Must have the ability to walk on surfaces and inclines that may be wet or icy and to work regularly in a cold environment
• Must be able to pass US Military background check in order to service military accounts.
• Valid driver's license
