JOB SUMMARY
Forest Lawn's Memorialization team is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a professional to become a part of this dedicated team. This position is responsible for the design and production of memorial tablets and custom inscriptions for client families. This position works closely with various departments and parks, including vendors, to produce special orders for client families.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Perform a broad variety of customer service functions, including but not limited to answering phones, responding to emails, data entry, proofreading, designing sketches, and other related duties.
  • Assist client families with the design and wording of Memorial Tablet. Ensure the client family is aware of design options, order timelines, and procedures for sketches.
  • Ensure client families reviews and approves Memorial Tablet sketches and proofs.
  • Adhere to established timelines to ensure Memorial Tablet orders are fulfilled as advised to client family.
  • Communicate with foundry to monitor the production and delivery time of Memorial Tablet orders.
  • Remain abreast of state laws including cemetery and right to control disposition.
  • Expediently and knowledgeably answer questions and solve problems for client families, team members and supporting departments throughout the organization.
  • Work in a busy environment that often involves frequent interruptions and/or distractions that require multi-tasking and meeting strict deadlines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience and/or training.
  • Bilingual in any language other than English.
  • Ability to work both independently and efficiently in-office and remotely (Hybrid) as well as part of a team.
  • Must type at least 45 wpm; Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite; Word, Excel, other programs.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to different Forest Lawn locations.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Some previous experience in a call center position.
  • Some previous Graphic Design experience.

DRUG TESTING POLICY
