Overview:
The qualified candidate for this position will answer inbound telephone calls from members, providers, and other miscellaneous calls, provide information to members regarding dental benefits and provider network, provide eligibility information to provider network and coordinate emergency care (out-of-area and specialist referrals). Responsibilities:
- Interact with other departments (or areas) to resolve patient and/or doctor inquiries
- Assist in training new Member Service representatives
- Answer inbound telephone calls from members, providers, and other miscellaneous calls
- Provide information to members regarding dental benefits and provider network
- Provide eligibility information to provider network
- Coordinate emergency care (out-of-area and specialist referrals)
- Interact with other departments (or areas) to resolve patient and/or doctor inquiries
- Coordinate Language Assistance Program requests
- Clerical duties and/or projects as assigned
- Bilingual Spanish
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a Call Center environment
