To review and respond to all Attorney requests, work reports, handle all collection accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attorney Correspondence from ChartSwap, Athena, fax and email, included but not limited to:
- Subpoenas
- billing depositions
- legal representation
- bankruptcy notices
- bankruptcy distribution payments
- bankruptcy adjustments
- ledger requests
- settlement and third-party negotiations
- Settlement reduction requests
- Settlement payments
- probate and deceased notifications
- Attorney questions and issues
- Preferred and TSI Collection Agency liaison for account collection issues.
- Reports:
- deceased report
- old age report
- bankruptcy queue
- bankruptcy sticky notes
- attyrep Review settlement review to ensure money is not being moved unrelated claim
- Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Organized, able to manage time effectively and efficiently, customer service-oriented, with professional phone presentation, advanced computer skills, ability to research and resolve
- High School Diploma
- 2-3 years experience in medical billing environment preferred.
