Medical Director Job at Daiya Healthcare of Washington
Daiya Healthcare of Washington is a leader in the post-acute care industry recruiting for its continued expansion. We are currently seeking an experienced Regional Medical Director.
This position will require approximately 25% travel within the state of Washington.
The RMD is responsible for affecting change that leads to improvements in clinical development strategies, and execution of clinical programs including the execution of clinical programs including the strategic planning, implementation, oversight and completion associated with each clinical project. The RMD also handles day to day operations of the Clinical Departments, and serves on various committees, both internal and external.
Job Duties
- Address issues related to coordination of medical care identified through the facility’s Quality Assessment and Assurance Committee.
- Organize and coordinate physician services and services provided by other professionals as they relate to resident care.
- Participate in Quality Assessment and Assurance (QAA) committee.
- Assist in the development of educational programs for facility staff and other professionals.
- Work with the facilities clinical teams to provide surveillance and develop polices to prevent the potential infection of residents.
- Support and promote person-directed care such as the formation of advance directives, end-of-life care and provisions that enhance resident decision making.
Required Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted MD/DO WA state license
- Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and/or Geriatrics
- AMDA Certified Medical Director preferred
