Medical Billing Specialist Job at Urban Recovery
We are looking for a dependable, experienced full-time Medical Billing Specialist for our growing office, specializing in Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health. Must have recent healthcare billing experience working with all insurances, including Medicaid. Must thoroughly understand billing and coding data sets.
The Billing Specialist will be responsible for billing and all A/R matters. Must be team oriented and be able to work independently. The Billing Specialist is also responsible for verifying all patient insurance information and complete all necessary insurance forms to process billing in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience in healthcare billing
- High school or equivalent required, bachelors preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills (written and oral)
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
- Detailed oriented
