Responsible for filling medical and vision claims, reviewing each chart making sure all CPT codes, ICD 10 codes and copays were entered correctly, work rejections and secondary claims. This position will also be responsible for coordination of benefits between medical and vision insurance companies, a record must be kept of all the coordination of benefits. You will also be responsible for printing all EOB payments (medical and vision) and transferring the balance to the patient, this includes determining which payments need to be posted to which office. Each month, a spreadsheet will be made for all insurance companies entering the amounts paid for each office. Other responsibilities include running a monthly insurance aging report, researching any outstanding claims, correcting and resubmitting if needed and processing monthly statements for all offices.
At least one year of medical billing is required.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
