Sunrise Services, INC. is seeking Med Techs & Caregivers (Direct Support Professionals) for our Supported Living Program! Looking for individuals to create a welcoming, safe environment for a returning client who needs 24/7 care.

As a Supported Living Technician, you would be responsible for supporting a person living in and engaging with the community. About the Program:
The Supported Living Program (SL) provides community living services for adults with a wide range of disabilities and mental health challenges. The SL program promotes self-determination, independence, and competence for clients.
Direct Support Professionals work with adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting, assisting clients with activities ranging from personal grooming and meal preparation to shopping, housekeeping and recreational outings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Shop, bank, eat, work, worship and make friends within the community.
- Provide transportation for the client.
- Meet with others and participate in activities with other members of the community.
- Foster positive self-esteem and a sense of self-worth.
- Foster opportunities to choose valued social roles.
- Support opportunities to influence perceptions of the person’s value by self and others.
- Assist clients with personal care or home management tasks
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, shopping, and light housekeeping
- Assist with making and preparing meals
- Peri-care as needed
- Maintain positive and courteous relationships with clients
- Accompany clients to events or on community outings
- Medication administration as mandated and trained
- Assist with personal grooming as needed
- Use an iPad and a program to track medications and behaviors
- Assist with other tasks as needed
Requirements: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
Education: High school diploma required. GED, NAR, CNA/NAC or similar medical licensure preferred.
Other Considerations:
- Must be able to pass a DSHS background check
- Fingerprinting required
- Must attend mandatory training classes (Occurs Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm for first 3 months of employment)
- Must have a valid driver's license, a clean 1 year driving abstract, and proof of insurance ($50,000)
- Must work one mandatory weekend shift
- Obtain NAR and complete Nurse Delegation training within 30 days of completing mandatory training. Ability to be delegated by a Registered Nurse is required before working with clients who need nurse delegated medications.

Shifts: Full and Part time available. Must work one mandatory weekend shift.
Compensation:
- $19.00 - $21.00 Wage depends on experience
- Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications.
