Pond seeks a Junior / Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join our winning design teams at our Peachtree Corners Headquarters. With continued growth, we are seeking talented and passionate visionaries to fill multiple openings within our Mechanical team serving the Oil & Gas and Fueling clients worldwide. We work as a full service, multi discipline team of dedicated and talented engineers, architects, planners, and construction employees delivering comprehensive design consulting to our customers.
Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates will have 0-3 years of experience in the mechanical engineering design, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a proven understanding of applied engineering.
- Individuals who have passed the EIT exam will be given greater consideration. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who wish to grow their career with a firm dedicated to individual professional growth in an environment centered on team participation.
- Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; and be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD /Revit required, 3D preferred.
Additional job skills that would enhance a candidate standing; include experience with piping systems, tanks and fueling systems, hydraulic analysis and simulation, stress analysis, and familiarity with technical specifications.
Field experience and general exposure to estimating, as it relates to energy and petrochemical industries is also desired.
