We are looking for an Assembly Mechanic, assembly of Industrial Mixers, for full time employment. The requirements for the position are as follows:
- Must be able to read and/or decipher blueprints, hand drawn sketches and verbal instructions
- Must have own hand tools
- Must be able to pay attention to details while assembling machinery
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate overhead cranes and fork trucks
- Familiarity with bearings, seals, gear reducers, power transmission (V-belt) systems, electric motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls, etc.
- Ability to recognize and calculate figures and amounts such as fractional size, decimal equivalent
- Ability to perform math problems including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
- Ability to perform required visual inspection of parts
- Ability to utilize precision measuring devices to inspect dimensions accurately
- Welding, electrical and three-phase power experience a plus
- Monday - Friday work schedule, single shift
- Training for specific applications is available
