RESPONSIBILITIES: (The major activities or end results necessary to fulfill the position requirements on an ongoing basis)
- Organize MRO Team’s workload for various aspects of Material Management Business such as Order Reservations, MRP Planning, Repairs, Enhancements, eRCSI processing.
- Track open order reservations for Urgency, Expediting and Fulfilment.
- Planning MRO activities for scheduled shutdowns, working with Maintenance team to insure inventory availability for key materials.
- Support, creating, deleting, and updating materials via the ERCSI database to ensure all Technical goods/Materials are created/maintained within the SAP Material Master Data for spare parts (ERSA/ HIBE) per Material Management Rules, Standards and MDC guidance.
- Track MRO Applications for backlog, supporting the systems on an ongoing basis.
- Support for capital project spare parts upon project hand over.
- Analyze and develop reports for plant users on spare parts usage history, aging reports, and market availability to determine adequate and economical stock levels of critical spares.
- Improving inventory accuracy through implementation of audits for compliance with written procedures, job guides and protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Area of study in Business Management, Operational Management, Supply Chain Management are preferred
- 5 years professional experience in Material Management department preferred
- Previous technical experience is preferred
- Expertise in vendor and customer master data maintenance and/or processes.
- Previous experience in SAP and experience in MS-Office (Excel, Visio, Power Point, and Word) Lotus Notes and Open Text preferred
- Strong communication skills, customer service focus and team-orientation (in a matrix organization) are critical as this position requires regular communication with internal and external teams.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplined, cross functional environment including teams.
- Flexibility to respond to changing job demands and prioritize responsibilities
- A high degree of personal initiative and the ability to work without supervision is essential.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and documentation skills
