Summary: The Master Entertainment Technician programs, operates, and maintains complex audio, video, and lighting equipment throughout the resort. This individual trains and guides the Entertainment Technician and Assistant Entertainment Technicians. The purpose is to sustain the highest level of operational capabilities and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Set-up, break-down, program, operate, and maintain all staging, audio, video, and lighting equipment in the Event Center, Lounge, and across property.
• Assist with load in & out of all Event Center shows. Set up and tear down of event equipment on stages. Work with touring and contract technicians.
• Complete production advance of upcoming shows as assigned including setting show-day schedules and ordering backline.
• Train and guide co-workers including mentoring Entertainment Technicians and Assistant Technicians in broadening their knowledge base and skill sets.
• Spearhead special projects across property.
• Set a professional example and contribute to effective communication between coworkers, touring artists and production staff.
• Handle equipment with care to avoid accidents and damage.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
• Must display a strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
• Must be punctual and dependable in reporting to work as scheduled and in completing assigned tasks.
• Stay informed of company information and communications be reviewing property emails, bulletin boards, and digital signage.
• Create a positive work environment for the benefit of the resort, customers, and employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience: Four years related experience and/or training. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills: Ability to create and update maintenance logs and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving few absolute variables in standardized situations.

Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
