About the Role:
The Marketing Specialist is a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for creative imagery and creating unique marketing campaigns. This person exhibits strong organizational skills, maintains deadlines and is comfortable learning specific brand voices.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for social media marketing campaigns and project management for several programs associated with brands under the New Hope Network umbrella, including Natural Products Expo (NPE), Nutrition Capital Network (NCN), Nutrition Business Journal (NBJ) and NBJ Summit. This role is key in supporting the delivery and success of marketing initiatives and campaigns that generate awareness, increase attendance and engagement, and drives revenue for our portfolio of shows and publications.
Role Accountability and Duties:
- Plan, create and execute social media campaigns for 3 brands across several social media channels
- Actively contribute creative ideas for new campaign initiatives based on past campaign performance, current trends and understanding of marketing and business objectives
- Work with marketing managers, creative team, and brand teams on development and delivery of needed marketing materials; own delivery within calendar deadlines
- Write create, impactful marketing copy for a variety of purposes, platforms and channels
- Track success across social platforms using google analytics and data collected through each social platform
- Own the on-site social media strategy and provide any additional supported needed on-site at trade shows
- Own, create and manage the full marketing campaign for unique programs associated with our show portfolios and publications, including email, web, social, digital ads, etc.
- Manage and create compelling in-person show booth set ups, including unique engagement activations and giveaways
- Provide support to Marketing Manager and marketing team on additional/other initiatives and projects as needed
What you bring to the team:
- 2+ years proven work experience within the marketing space
- Comfortability navigating social media channels & scheduling platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Linktree and Hootsuite
- Passion for creativity and visuals that tell a story
- Self-starting attitude and creative spirit that has the ability to pitch an idea and then run with it
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated and adapts to changing situations and requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in the natural products / health & nutrition industry is a plus
- Experience in email marketing, digital ad creatives, social media campaign creation and website design
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Enjoyment of working cross-teams and of traveling for shows
- Proficiency in web content management platforms, MS office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience using AEM, Eloqua and Canva is a plus.

- The pay range for this position is $51,850 - $62,000
