As a Marine Hydrographic Surveyor, your key responsibilities will be to support dredging and construction projects and specialize in precise positioning of equipment, and acquisition/processing of data in marine environments. Responsible for performing hydrographic surveys and maintaining positioning instrumentation on dredging vessels.

What it takes:

  • Degree in Surveying and Mapping, Engineering, or similar curriculum preferred
  • 2-5 years of field experience in hydrographic surveying, in both single beam and multi-beam hydrography
  • Professional state license and/or nationally recognized hydrographic certification preferred
  • Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) preferred
  • Proficient with conventional survey tools, GPS equipment, and hydrographic equipment
  • Working knowledge of hydrographic data acquisition software
  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be operating and an acceptable driving record
  • Extensive travel may be required throughout North America, relocation is NOT required
