TITLE: Manufacturing Technician 2nd shift

SHIFT: 2 nd shift, 2:30 PM – 12 AM
VACCINATION REQUIREMENT: None

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician who can perform mechanical assembly operations and provide technical support to engineers on standard components and equipment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will mechanically assemble, disassemble, rework, test, and repair products and mechanical assemblies.
• Use assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, sketches, and running sheets of significant complexity you test, inspect, and repair mechanical assemblies.
• When needed, rework the unit to make it compliant with specifications.
• Works under minimal supervision and guides technicians if needed.
• Ability to work in a team environment and interpret and follow written documents, including SOPs and safety regulations.
• Must comply with safety and regulatory requirements and interact with other departments to ensure a proper flow of information and materials.
• Ability to work overtime and off-shift 1st shift when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Solid mechanical skills and ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge to follow build book/work instructions
• Experience with tools including torquing, pneumatic and small hand tools, saws and grinders, and ability to use measuring devices
• Knowledge of basic wiring and piping; basic computer skills with the ability to calibrate specific tools and understand compliance issues
• Ability to multitask and reprioritize when changing operational conditions
• Preferred experience includes working with Permanent Magnet Motors, Generators, stacking laminations, installing coils, brazing, and installing cooling tubes
• Preferred experience with using overhead cranes and forklift trucks and using special tooling, fixtures, and lifting rigs designed for particular jobs
• Preferred experience with assembling large, complex, rotating machinery
