Our innovative technologies and proven expertise help manufacturers in the Americas to be more efficient, reliable and profitable. FAC is currently searching for a Supervisor. This role will be Responsible for day to day activities required executing FANUC P-Series Robot Factory. Provide leadership to assigned work centers to meet scheduled customer delivery dates. Quickly work with operations team members and other support groups to resolve issues. Hold leaders and technicians accountable for production, quality requirements and safety requirements. Primary Responsibilities include:

• Manufacturing Productivity – Know work schedule, strive to achieve schedule customer delivery. Assist leaders to ensure technicians know and work to meet dates and quality requirements. Communicate to support groups to resolve issues and pull material to the floor to meet schedules.
• Manpower Scheduling - Provided input into the scheduling process to ensure correct skill sets are positioned on each activity. Plan and documented weekend schedule for all activities to recovery and meet committed customer delivery dates.
• Continuous Improvement - Effectively monitors and improves processes, performance output, and working environment conditions. Make recommendations to for capital investment to improve and grow productivity. Takes a Lean approach to organizing and operating work centers with Manufacturing Engineering.
• Process Management - Establish and maintain documented procedures and work instructions for processes with Manager and Quality Manager with updates to Quality System, processes and documents. Continually audit and measure technical performance.
• Quality Inspection - Perform in-process audits and final quality inspections. Ensure product and workmanship meets FAC standards. Verify test results data is complete and within defined ranges.
• Safe Work Environment - Ensure operational activities comply with State (MIOSHA), Federal, and FRA safety requirements. Take appropriate action on all incident violations. Become a monthly member of safety committee.
• Employee Training - Assess training needs regularly; maintain the plan for technicians required training, and cross-training efforts.
• Development of Technicians - Stretch technicians into expanded roles via assignments and documented performance reviews (PDR).

Ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills and education:

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Five years experience in manufacturing with proven leadership or related experience with P-series manufacturing from related support group or equivalent relevant experience
• FANUC P-Series Product and/or Systems automation experience preferred.
