Manufacturing & Packaging Technician
We are looking to hire a Manufacturing & Packaging Technician to work for an established Manufacturer located in Norwich, NY.
Hours:
- 1st Shift (Monday – Friday) 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday) 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift (Sunday Night – Friday Morning) 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay Rate - $17.00 /hr - plus Shift differential for 2nd Shift – $1.00 / 3rd Shift - $1.20

Key duties will include:
- Setting-up equipment and tending machines to produce products
- Inspect, weigh and test ingredients and finished products
- Transport materials, ingredients, compounds, products and supplies
- Loading ingredients into machine for manufacturing process
- Unloading manufactured product from machines
- Cleaning manufacturing equipment and modules for regular housekeeping and product changeovers
- Performs data entry to ensure accuracy
Education & Experience include:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Trade School Certification or College degree in a related discipline or Trade School Certification preferred
- Industrial experience desired in manufacturing or packaging
- Mechanical aptitude, strong reading comprehension and attention to detail
- Ability to work extended hours or various shifts
