Holcim (US) Inc. seeks a Reliability Manager in Whitehall, Pennsylvania to reach maximum
long term availability and reliability of the equipment and installations in the plant by:
implementing appropriate preventive maintenance, performing condition monitoring, and
applying predictive strategies and actions at the lowest optimum cost in compliance with Health
& Safety regulations. Key responsibilities include:
measurements, electric motor diagnostic, gear measurements, other specific condition monitoring
measurements.
This position requires travel up to 5% of the time

& Safety regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as a visible leader and provide support for safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Plan preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities and develop maintenance
- Follow the creation of bill of materials (BOM) and ensure spare parts availability through
- Oversee Total Lubrication Management and lubrication preventive maintenance routines
- Perform condition monitoring inspections, specifically walk by inspections (WBI), lubrication
measurements, electric motor diagnostic, gear measurements, other specific condition monitoring
measurements.
- Prepare a department skill matrix, and develop people, set benchmarks and challenge the

Qualifications:
The position of Reliability Manager requires a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field, plus 5 years of
progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a
reliability/maintenance engineering position. The position also requires the following number of
years of professional experience with each of the following:
o 1) 1 year: Apply Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) techniques and problem-solving
tools/Project Management Approach;
o 2) 1 year: Lube or Machinery Lubrications;
o 3) 2 years: Define and implement preventive maintenance programs and routines/ Maintenance
Management Systems;
o 4) 2 years: Perform Kiln shell run out measurement using Laser DISTO tool and recommend
applicable actions;
o 5) 2 years: SAP PM2 and Hydraulics;
o 6) 5 years: Ball Mills; Girth Gears; Vertical Roller Mills; Cement Kilns; Root Cause Analysis
for Kilns; and
o 7) 5 years: Perform Ball Mill and Gearbox Inspections and recommend applicable actions;
Perform Kiln Roller Adjustments; and Perform Kiln Assessment (Kiln Ovality, Kiln Inclination,
