The Manager, Recruiting will lead the effort to identify, assess and hire the future team members of McGee Air Services in support of our overarching goal to deliver best-in-class ground handling services. This is a highly autonomous role requiring an experienced and seasoned professional to implement and sustain innovative recruiting solutions and represent McGee to interested applicants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build lasting partnerships with operational leaders and onboarding manager to ensure our candidate experience is best-in-class.
  • Implement and sustain recruiting solutions, tools and technologies enabling McGee to compete effectively for talent, improve efficiencies and achieve compliance obligations.
  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process for operational frontline positions. Areas of scope will include regulatory and company compliance requirements, selection, offer, and administrative components involved with hiring of candidates.
  • Lead group of in-house recruiters to ensure established recruitment metrics are achieved while focusing on our best-in class full-cycle recruitment process.
  • Oversee and manage pre-employment process including all required paperwork, background checks, drug screening, and security clearances.
  • Partner and consult with leaders to design innovative hiring plans that are customized to attract the right talent for the right position at the right time
  • In conjunction with the Resource Planning team, develop pro-active strategic staffing plans for each McGee location to ensure we meet or exceed our locations staffing needs.
  • Develop and maintain recruiting analytics including weekly report out to local station and executive leaders
  • Oversee compliance with McGee's programs related to hiring such as background checks, OFCCP and EEO Compliance as it relates to operational frontline positions.
  • Research and identify candidate sourcing opportunities to represent McGee Air Services to include social media, career fairs and other community events.
  • Implement and lead McGee Air Services Talent Outreach Programs and Partnerships, support and maintain relationships with key community partners.
  • Support all other recruiting programs such as recruitment marketing, referral programs, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communication, human resources or related discipline preferred
  • Three (3) years' recruiter experience required (Identifying, screening and interviewing candidates) required
  • Three years'(3) experience leading and effectively managing a workgroup of team members working in human resources, recruiting, compliance or other related fields preferred
  • Project management and process improvement experience preferred
  • Knowledge/experience working in Microsoft Office and of HRIS systems preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and passion for identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to self-start and self-direct work in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and frequent change
  • Flexibility to support travel (approximately 25%) required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen and fingerprinting
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Reside or willing to relocate to the Greater Seattle Area
