PowerMarket is a leader in the community solar industry, providing utilities, developers, and energy retailers the indispensable digital tools necessary to manage and administer community solar projects and the associated subscribers. We are committed to making clean energy more accessible, affordable, and widespread. We work with a variety of environmental advocacy and community groups to do outreach and education about the energy transition that we are in the midst of. We are looking for a Manager of Community Outreach and Strategic Partnerships in New Mexico to support those efforts.

In this position you will have a leading role in customer acquisition and developing strategic partnerships with mission-aligned organizations and grow our subscriber base throughout the state. You will be active throughout the state working with community groups, industry associations and local organizations to help increase the visibility of community solar.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with local partners, non-profits, tribes, industry associations and collaborate on community solar marketing and brand awareness.
  • Manage and support subscribers as they move through enrollment and onboarding.
  • Host info sessions and speak to audiences at relevant events to help engage potential subscribers.
  • Effectively communicate complex solar and energy industry concepts to retail customers in terms that customers can understand.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to optimize acquisition services.
  • Lead and manage subscriber acquisition campaigns across its community solar portfolio.
  • Create community solar training materials and manage social media accounts.
  • Ability to work remotely, independently, and to manage professional relationships

Qualifications

  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a creative mindset and passionate about community solar and the clean energy future.
  • Proven experience in community involvement, strategic partnerships, marketing, and/or outbound sales and support.
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Proven self-starter who works well under pressure and looks forward to being challenged.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in building relationships at all operational levels

Salary

$65,000 to $85,000 - commensurate with experience
