Job Responsibilities


40% Operations – Responsible for managing the Club's consumer websites and serving as the lead on deployment operations. Manage online content and functionality to accomplish strategic goals. Drive improvements to website products and features by finding efficiencies and improving the overall user experience. Develop an experience testing program on the Club's website, including execution, result analysis, and application of insights that maximizes potential growth of online business and improved functionality. Provide support to downstream business operations and interfaces. Accountable for local and national level compliance to digital quality standards, platforms, and coding support including Clubwide member satisfaction goals. Liaise with AAA National for AAA Mobile app and Digital Roadside Request support. Work with the Club’s technical CRM, MRM, TPOS, and data warehouse staff to ensure functionality and identify improvements benefiting the user experience and business line’s goals.


20% Insights and Innovation – Responsible for generating and executing innovative ideas for growth, analyzing site and customer data, and solving problems. Develop and implement a web strategy that complements existing Club marketing strategy and brand. Create benchmarks and performance expectations for online presence and regularly provide performance reports for the Marketing team, business lines, and Club leadership. Contribute to the development of annual marketing and business line plans. Identify and scope opportunities for future system integrations to support the Club's technology roadmap.


20% Leadership - Effectively manage the team to maintain a high performing website and execute on web, digital, and social media marketing strategies. Identify, recruit and retain top performing employees; manage low performing employees in accordance with company policy. Manage with the intent to motivate, train, and develop. Provide timely, constructive feedback regarding progress of work and performance. Make well informed decisions, demonstrate initiative, use sound judgment, exhibit autonomy, and execute.


10% Budget Management – Collaborate with the business lines and development teams to implement new content, navigation, and applications while staying within budget and timeline. Identify, negotiate and manage strategic relationships with content and technological partners. Negotiate and review vendor contracts. Responsible for adherence to, and assisting with the development of, departmental budgets for capital and operating income and expenses.


10% Project Management – Effectively manage and prioritize all digital and web projects presented to/from the Marketing team. Use approved project management software to ensure transparent communication and timely delivery. Work with various internal and external teams to ensure sound functionality and smooth integration of required applications.

Job Specific Requirements

  • Proficient with Content Management Systems (such as WordPress, Drupal) and website analytics tools (such as Google or Adobe Analytics). Any Google certifications a plus.
  • Understanding of web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript.
  • Familiarity with the principals of Customer Relationship Manager and CRM functionality. Experience with Salesforce a plus.
  • Leverages project management software and a JIRA/ticket type process for project management.
  • Deep knowledge of inner workings of fundamental digital components such as SEO, SEM, PPC, web content development, and web and social analytics.
  • Experience and familiarity with HubSpot for email and inbound marketing. Any HubSpot certifications a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and stay current with the everchanging
  • digital and technology landscape.
  • Effective communication skills and comfortability communicating to all levels of the Club, and works seamlessly with creative teams and business lines.
  • Ability to think quickly and creatively to take advantage of real-time marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate when needed or work independently for multiple priorities and projects.

Experience
