We are searching for a Manager - Clinical Operations - RN position reports to the Director or designee. Perform diversified duties to support and improve the day-to-day clinical operations of assigned practices consistent with the strategic vision of the organization. Provide direct supervision of nursing personnel and technical supervision of other clinical support personnel (e.g., medical assistants) and activities. Provide guidance and support to clinical staff to ensure compliance with policy, procedure, and best practice standards. Implement and monitor clinical workflows, lead clinical performance improvement plans, and follow-up on quality and patient safety concerns. Collaborate with Professional Development staff to onboard, educate, assess competency of, and monitor clinical staff. In collaboration with practice leadership, ensure clinical operations and practice environment of care promote safe and high-quality patient care. Duties include direct supervisory responsibility for nursing staff and functions within the assigned practices, including hiring, personnel issues and performance reviews, coordination of orientation and training. For other clinical support personnel (e.g., medical assistants), position is responsible for technical supervision, coordination of orientation and training, and provision of input to Practice Administrator/Manager regarding hiring, performance management, and evaluations.

• Shift: Day Shift; 8:00am-4:30pm
• Location: Truesdale – Fall River, MA

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of five years nursing or relevant clinical experience required.
• Three years of medical office, urgent care, emergency, or inpatient activity experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field highly desirable.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and be able manage multiple priorities.
• Requires computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience.
• Current LPN or RN licensure in the Commonwealth of MA and/or RI is required.
• Certification in Ambulatory Nursing desirable.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID 19 and provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
