Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician who is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and grounds. The Maintenance Technician's main responsibilities include responding to work requests and performing routine repairs and maintenance. The work schedule is as needed.

Starner Hill is located in the small town of Grantsville in Western Maryland’s Garrett County. A senior center is located adjacent to the building and shopping and recreational opportunities are all nearby. The community offers 18 efficiency and one-bedroom, rent-assisted apartments for seniors and disabled persons.

JOB DUITES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responds to resident and management work requests and takes corrective action according to established

priorities.

• Performs routine and maintenance repair on equipment to ensure proper operation. Troubleshoots problem and

notifies supervisor as needed.

• Inspects and performs preventative maintenance according to established schedules and procedures.
• Complies with all OSHA and MOSH regulations concerning building.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma/G.E.D., 1 year related experience. Basic practical knowledge.
• Must possess a valid Maryland driver’s license with less than three (3) points.
