The Lido Beach Resort is looking for a Maintenance Technician PM (3pm-11pm) to join our team!

We are currently seeking a detail oriented, experienced Maintenance Technician to perform upkeep and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a good work ethic, solid technical knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills. Essential Functions Include:

• Ensure the hotel property is maintained in the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to guests.
• Resolve all concerns/complaints in a timely manner, providing superior service to our guests.
• Complete assigned work orders for general repair within assigned timeframe in order to achieve efficiency of the hotel, its safety and its equipment.
• Perform systematic checks and inspections to upkeep the hotel and assist in the established proactive maintenance program in order to prevent malfunctions, breakdowns and general depreciation.
• Maintain tools, workspaces and equipment in safe, secure and good condition.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in a maintenance position.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, HVAC/refrigeration, and commercial appliance repair.
• CPO pool maintenance certification is a plus.
• Must work well in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to trouble shoot repairs independently.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Availability:

• Must be able to work a flexible am/pm schedule, including weekends & holidays.
• Availability required is subject to change based on business needs.
