Actively seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Brattleboro, VT area. This is a full-time, first shift position offering $25/hour.
Duties:
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair mechanical equipment and facilities
- Aid in the manufacturing of all company products in a safe and sanitary work environment
- Complete emergency repairs in breakdown situations
- Perform and follow all OSHA guidelines regarding work and safety manuals
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as scheduled
- Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current
- Write simple correspondence, and complete manufacturing documentation completely
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years experience in maintenance divisions or experience in a related position
- Working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Able to assess all areas of machines and support equipment in facility
- Able to read basic electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
- Knowledge of hydraulic / pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of boiler function and operation
- Able to perform TIG welding
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, sit, use hands / arms and lift 50+ lbs frequently
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
