Maintenance Technician Job at PCS Technical Services
Now Hiring Maintenance Technicians in Summerside, OH!
Shift: 2nd, 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday
Rate: $21.00-$25.00+ (based on experience)
Essential Functions:
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment and performs regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
- Ability to detect malfunction of equipment.
- Ability to discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
- Provide emergency/ unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Perform a variety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry functions.
- Support continuous improvement efforts in the shop.
- Build equipment or tools designed by the manufacturing engineers.
Qualifications:
- Technical degree or 3 to 4 years of related experience in machinery maintenance and repair.
- Technical degree in Electrical repair preferred.
- Ability to weld and fabricate.
- Ability to run and operate a forklift.
- Must be able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and understand verbal instructions.
- Must have a driver's license and ability to be an authorized driver for company with a clear driving record.
- Must be able to lift 75 or more pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time.
