Maintenance Technician Job at AICOTA HEALTH CARE CENTER
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for a variety of job tasks in the physical building and on the facility grounds. Maintenance personnel are also responsible for driving the Aicota van(s) for transporting residents to/from medical appointments as scheduled by nursing/business office.
Typical job duties include:
- Perform minor repairs of building & equipment
- Repairs & performs maintenance on resident furniture, wheelchairs, & equipment
- Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment
- Obtains & orders parts/supplies for repairs
- Snow removal & lawn care
- Van transportation
- Painting & staining
- Assists with resident room moves
Required Skills/Education:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have the ability to operate/maintain mechanical equipment
