Maintenance Mechanic Job at White Horse Village
White Horse Village, a prestigious Senior Living Community located in Newtown Square, PA is seeking to add a Maintenance Mechanic to their team! Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on the community and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, painting, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
- Replace burned out light bulbs, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, florescent lights, room call lights, etc., and perform cleaning duties wherever necessary.
- Inspect and test electrical lighting, signals, communication and power circuits and equipment.
- Installs and maintains complex electrical and electronic components of varied equipment.
- Diagnoses and remedies all electrical troubles and repairs and replaces all electrical apparatus.
- Works on secondary voltage equipment.
- Performs work in other trades.
- Uses all required electrical tools, measuring and testing equipment.
- Works from complex wiring diagrams, code books and similar documents.
- Cleans debris from work area, parts and equipment.
- Additional duties as directed.
- Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting trimming, policing, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of plumbing experience
- Valid Drivers License required
- Ability to lift, climb ladders, work in tight spaces required
- Availability for snow removal, and on-call rotation required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50 - $24.75 per hour
