Maintenance Mechanic Job at AIMS ADVANTAGE
AIMS Advantage is rapidly expanding and we are hiring for Maintenance Mechanics in manufacturing for immediate hire. These are full-time temporary to permanent positions with an excellent benefit package upon hire. Our positions are located in Grand Rapids, Kentwood, Grandville, Wyoming, Walker, and Hudsonville, MI. Job Responsibilities
- Performs tool work and plans mechanical updates on plant equipment, troubleshoots plant equipment, and keeps up assigned work orders.
- Performing precise tool work on secondary equipment, using prints.
- Troubleshooting machinery with/without the use of control prints.
- Designs and installs simple air and fluid system modifications and updates prints (where applicable).
- Calibrates systems and machine controllers.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic prints
- Experience working in the manufacturing environment
- Ability to obtain a hi-lo license
- 2-4 years of on the job mechanical/industrial training
