Fleet Maintenance Manager
NOTE: The following position is for a proposed new business within First Transit. Only candidates meeting the work experience requirements will be considered.

About the Position
Join the First Transit team as Fleet Maintenance Manager in Denver, CO. The Maintenance Manager will supervise the maintenance and repair of buses and support vehicles to contract requirements. We hire individuals who make safety and customer service their top priorities. This position has a salary range of $120,000. - Schedules and administers fleet maintenance and troubleshoots vehicle and equipment problems.
- Communicates availability of vehicles for service with dispatchers and the operations department.
- In relation to subordinates, is responsible for employment decisions, training and development; planning and directing the work; disciplining; handling employee complaints or grievances, and handling performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Technical training preferred
- Valid Colorado CDL B w/Passenger endorsement
- 5 years of hands-on mechanical supervisory experience
- Direct automotive, diesel, or alternative fuel repair experience
- May require lifting of 20 to 50 lbs
- Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
