Maintenance, Full-Time - Clarksville TN Job at Buffalo Valley Inc
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Applicants must have real world experience in plumbing, electrical, construction, and demo
- Build, repair, paint, replace broken items and parts, clean, mow lawns, and all other functions associated with the general maintenance of housing and grounds
- Must be available for on call nights and weekends for emergencies. Applicants will be required to work in all weather conditions including extreme weather conditions
- Applicants will need to follow instructions, have common sense when making decisions, and some heavy lifting will be required.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- If extra hours are needed to complete work, must be flexible and still be pleasant to residents in our housing.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pass Background Check and Drug Screen required
- Keeps a current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Valid TN D.L. with "F" endorsement required; "F" endorsement can be obtained once hired.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One year or more of related experience or training is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
