Under occasional supervision, performs coordination and oversight regarding the general operations of the supplies and equipment warehouse for the maintenance department. Work involves ensuring warehouse operations are carried out in an accurate and timely fashion, ensuring compliance with all local and state laws, regulations, and policies related to warehouse inventory maintenance. Employee is responsible for communicating with school officials to ensure adequate stock is available for maintenance required in the Asheboro City Schools’ facilities. Employee is responsible for monitoring the maintenance Work Order system and assigning jobs in coordination with the Director of Facilities and Maintenance.

Employee is responsible for maintaining various vehicles, fuel usage/storage, and purchase order reports of activity within the maintenance department. Employee must exercise considerable tact and courtesy in frequent contact with subordinate employees, supervisor, school officials, and supply vendors. Employee reports to the Director of Facilities and Maintenance.
