ABOUT THE COMPANY

Mail of America, one of the nation's leaders in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is currently seeking mail delivery applicants for the Hoodsport, Wa post office.

*This is an independent 1099 contracted position

*We teach people to be independent contractors by getting them EIN's and setting them up for success!!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

USPS mail carriers deliver mail to homes and businesses in cities, towns, and rural areas. They travel planned routes, collecting and delivering mail, obtaining signatures, and answering customer questions about postal regulations and services. Delivery occurs regardless of the weather, although schedules may be delayed

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other administrative duties are required.
• Must be able to operate a Right-hand-drive vehicle.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Route delivery/ unloading experience
• Former USPS, UPS, FedEx employees

MINIMUM VEHICLE AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
• Mail of America provides a right hand drive vehicle and gas for this position.

Must be available to start immediately upon hire

• Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday. Government Holidays observed
• Time: 7:30AM till finish.

Additional income Sundays delivering Amazon if interested.

This position is a 1099 contracted position

Pay is based on the evaluated route performance from the federal government and is paid monthly at a negotiated rate.

Once trained you will work independently for completion of the route.
