We are currently looking for an LTSR Director/Mental Health Professional to fill a full-time position in Latrobe. The LTSR Director will be responsible for assisting and monitoring all therapeutic activities in the LTSR (Long Term Structured Residence) and supervising all aspects of the LTSR. The LTSR Director will report directly to the Program Administrator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LTSR DIRECTOR:

  • Assist in supervision/implementation of therapeutic recreational activities
  • Interview and hire residential assistant staff
  • Provide supervision, staff training, and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate and develop appropriate residential policies and procedures
  • Monitor all required residential and therapeutic activities documentation
  • Oversee LTSR physical site, recommending changes and improvements, coordinating cleaning, repairs, and general up-keep
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Must possess a positive attitude toward individuals and be able to work constructively with every member of the health care team
  • Must maintain professional communications with outside agencies, families, individual advocates, etc.
  • Must possess good management techniques to train and supervise mental health care staff
  • Must possess good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must develop a full understanding of the annual budget and provide input into development and implementation
  • Must develop a thorough understanding and knowledge of all Long-Term Structured Residence and Regulations
  • All other duties as assigned by the Program Administrator

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE LTSR DIRECTOR:

  • Master’s Degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline
  • One (1) year mental health clinical experience
  • Have obtained, if applicable, licensure, registration, or certification, governed by a professional licensure board in Pennsylvania

  • Prospective employee hired for the LTSR Director position will receive a $5,000 sign‐on bonus. New employee will receive the first $2,500 after completion of orientation. The second $2,500 will be awarded after completion of 6 months of employment. Employee must stay in full-time position to receive the whole bonus amount. Sign-on bonus is eligible for prospective employees hired from October 28, 2022 through December 31, 2022.
