Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practitioner and Registered Nurse to join our nursing team at our nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The Nurse will be responsible for providing high quality nursing care to our residents, as well as coordinating and supervising the care provided by licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate and provide comprehensive care for residents
- Monitor and document residents' conditions and progress
- Educate residents and their families on health and wellness matters
- Supervise and mentor licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants
Qualifications:
- Current LPN /Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- 1+ years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Commitment to providing high quality, person-centered care
