Cottonwood Community Alternatives, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency that was established in 1991 to provide residential and day program services to Colorado citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Cottonwood believes in providing a variety of community-based supports and services to individuals with IDD, empowering them to live as independently and productively as possible while promoting individual choice, dignity, and quality of life.
Cottonwood is seeking an energetic nurse (RN or LPN) for an active, fun loving, 27 year old woman that lives in her family home.
Flexible coverage can be coordinated with family and current nursing staff if weekend day is needed off.
BONUS: $250 at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months for new hire only if in good standing (total of $1,000)
SHIFT:
- Saturday AND/OR Sunday - 7a - 7p
JOB DUTIES:
- Skilled nursing care for hands on personal care, toileting, transferring
- G-tube
- Suctioning
- Medication administration
- Occasional medical appointments in the community
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active RN or LPN License
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Record
