Job Description

Our nurses are key members of our team who provide direct care to residents to enhance their quality of life. As a Charge Nurse your responsibility includes the overall nursing care/service, with administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency calls, as indicated.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel.

· Administers direct care as necessary.

· Gives and receives shift reports.

· Rounds twice a shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.

· Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.

· Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Current RN or LPN license in Arizona

· Must hold a valid CPR certification and be trained in AED procedures

· 6 months nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred

· Current Food Handlers Certification
