Job Description: Traveling CNA/MA/RN as a 1099 Contractor, Must be willing to travel all over the United States, excluding Hawaii and Alaska, for several days and/or weeks at a time.

Job Purpose: The primary responsibility of the Traveling CNA/MA/RN is to provide compassionate patient care throughout the duration of transport.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Documentation of all patient care administered
• Keeping medic, patient and family areas neat and clean
• Medical care includes checking patient vitals regularly
• Assisting patient with feeding
• Changing patient undergarments
• Assist patient with using bathroom, emptying catheters
• Checking blood sugar levels
• Monitoring Oxygen (O2) levels
• Administering prescribed medications to patient
• Conducting a Face-to-Face patient evaluation with nurse/caregiver or family member in charge of patient’s care at both pick up and drop off
• Familiarity with all medical supplies and equipment on board the Medical Transport vehicle (Training provided)
• Conducting inventory of medical supplies and equipment; reporting supply shortages and equipment malfunctions lead driver and/or Main office.
• Keeping family informed of patient’s condition throughout the trip, and allowing them to communicate with patient.
• Accommodate needs of family members if accompanied
• Suggest changes to office task workflow in order to improve efficiency
• Uphold and carry out company office policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent required
• Prefer experience in patient care giving
• Excellent communication and people skills
• CPR certified
• Medical license for MA/CNA/RN
• Medication Administration Certification
• Driver’s license
• Flexible schedule
• Able to travel and stay on the road for multiple days
• Work as a 1099 independent contractor.
• The chosen applicant must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay is $250 per day
• Daily Meals are covered
• Travel and accommodation Expenses are covered (if needed): Hotel and Flights
• Ongoing training provided
