Logs and Compliance Associate Job at Melton Truck Lines
Summary: To maintain federal compliance in accordance w/ the regulations in the FMCSR; and to maintain maximum hours of service log compliance for the fleet.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned
1. Review all real time HOS violation alerts
2. Audit and coach on HOS violations from reports
3. Administers log auditing and electronic log procedures by collecting driver logs, forwarding to Comdata/Electronic Auditing System, runs and receives reports from Omnitracs and counsels drivers accordingly. Clears/Audits drivers on Laredo yard by auditing logs against qualcom position history and provides weekly counsel and log audit reports as necessary.
4. Monitors off duty driving and unassigned driving reports and coaches as needed
6. Repairs MCP changes and handles all maintenance regarding E-logs
7. Monitors missing logs report (RAIR)
8. Processes tickets and inspections
9. Audit MCMIS report
10. Maintain various monthly safety reports
Has contact with the following documents: All documentation involving DOT and personnel files, including applications, background checks, and road tests/certifications; medical files; termination reports; and compliance records, including DAC reports, annual reviews, and drug testing records.
Qualification Requirements: as follows and other duties as assigned:
Education and/or Experience: Customer service experience is a plus. Also, basic administrative knowledge is required to satisfactorily perform this job. Previous CDL driving experience is beneficial.
Special Training: must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and DAC. Must be fully English/Spanish bilingual.
Special Skills: The ability to speak to a large group of people and deal w/ high-pressure situations as they arise is necessary to the performance of this job. Also, attention to detail is very important.
Physical Demands: Must be able to walk, talk, hear, and type. Must occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
